Bell times & breaks
Set the first bell, period length, short break and lunch, then auto-fill every period time in 12-hour (AM/PM) or 24-hour format. Break rows print as full-width strips and are not counted as periods.
Make a school timetable or class schedule for any country in minutes — from a US bell schedule or UK Year 7 timetable to a Sunday–Thursday Gulf timetable or a German Stundenplan. Teachers, students and parents can build class, teacher, exam and study timetables. Add bell times (12- or 24-hour) and breaks, let Smart auto-generate spread subjects across the week, follow today’s classes in the Live timetable snapshot, then download a printable PDF, PNG, JPG or an Excel-ready CSV — free, no sign-up, on your device.

Start with a school week, an exam schedule or a study plan. Each format gives you a useful starting grid; change the example content to match your real timetable.
The timetable maker now does more than draw a grid. It understands periods, breaks, teachers and the school day, so the poster you print and the schedule you follow on screen stay in sync.
Set the first bell, period length, short break and lunch, then auto-fill every period time in 12-hour (AM/PM) or 24-hour format. Break rows print as full-width strips and are not counted as periods.
Type each subject with its periods per week and teacher. The generator spreads subjects across the week, limits repeats per day and keeps your typed cells.
See today’s periods with the current one highlighted, a countdown to the next class and a full-screen classroom display for smart boards.
Show the teacher under each subject and colour cells by day or by subject, so the same subject always has the same colour.
Start from a primary, secondary, college, teacher, kids, exam, study or daily-routine template and edit everything.
Download a CSV that opens in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers, or import a CSV to fill the grid instantly.
Your timetables are kept in this browser on this device, so the poster and the live view are ready next time. Nothing is uploaded.
Download PDF, PNG or JPG in A4, A3 or US Letter, portrait or landscape — every export keeps the lyfpdf.com credit.
Every template opens in the editor with realistic example content — periods, bell times, breaks and subjects — that you can change in seconds. Print it as a PDF or share it as a PNG.
Schools organise the week differently, so the timetable maker lets you set the days, the number of periods, lesson length, breaks, time format and language yourself. Typical patterns include:
A class schedule or bell schedule usually has six to eight periods of about 45–55 minutes, a lunch period and sometimes advisory. Many high schools use an A/B block schedule with 80–90-minute blocks. Times are written in 12-hour AM/PM format.
A school timetable often has five or six lessons of 50–60 minutes, a morning break and lunch, and may repeat over one or two weeks. Use the two-week rotation format or rename columns “Week A” and “Week B”.
A class time table commonly runs Monday–Saturday with seven or eight periods of 35–45 minutes, a short break and a lunch break, often with a class teacher named on the chart.
Many schools in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and neighbouring countries teach Sunday to Thursday. Choose the Sunday–Thursday format and, if you like, Arabic poster labels with right-to-left layout.
A Stundenplan is based on 45-minute lessons, sometimes in double lessons, with short breaks and a longer “große Pause”. Create one on the German timetable page.
Look for the emploi du temps, horario escolar and horário escolar pages, with the poster in French, Spanish or Portuguese.
The poster language can be English, Hindi (टाइम टेबल), Arabic (جدول الحصص), French, German, Spanish or Portuguese, and you can type subjects in any language your device supports. The week can start on Sunday or Monday, and the live view follows the day and clock of the device it is opened on.
Step-by-step help for teachers, students and parents — from planning a balanced class timetable to building a study schedule that survives exam season.
Open Live timetable snapshot above the poster. It reads your device clock, picks today’s column, highlights the period in progress and shows how many minutes are left before the next class. Choose another day to preview it, switch to Classroom display for a full-screen view on a projector or smart board, or download the snapshot as a PNG for a class group.
The snapshot needs period times: use Auto-fill period times in the grid settings, or type a start and end time for each row. Because the timetable is saved in this browser, the classroom computer opens straight to the live view next time.
Smart auto-generate works like an AI timetable generator for a single class: you list the subjects, how many periods each needs per week and who teaches it, and it builds a balanced weekly timetable in a second. It is a transparent, rule-based scheduler that runs in your browser rather than a chatbot, so your school data is not sent anywhere and the same rules always apply:
Not happy with the arrangement? Click Shuffle again for another balanced version, then fine-tune any cell by hand. Whole-school scheduling across many classes and shared teachers needs dedicated school timetable software; this tool focuses on producing a clear, printable timetable for one class, teacher or student.
Arrange lessons by day and period. Use class presets from 1 to 12, add breaks and lunch, or rename columns for an A/B or rotating-day schedule.
Record dates, subjects, start and end times, rooms and notes. Review the schedule against your institution’s official exam notice before sharing it.
Plan revision blocks, daily activities and learning goals. Leave room for rest and adjust example times to your own routine.
The slogan and the decorative line below it are separate parts. Click the words to edit the message; click the line or use Edit heart / slogan divider to open its graphics picker. Choose hearts, stars, sparkles, waves, a ribbon, laurel branches, a pencil, dots or a simple curved line.
Built-in dividers have two color controls and adjustable line thickness. Use the size slider for a narrower decoration, upload your own graphic, or hide it. You can restore a hidden divider through the part picker or the Design controls. The fixed brand sits in its own area below the divider.
The 67 classroom illustrations remain available alongside the 10 new dividers. For easy reading, use a clear font for subjects and reserve decorative fonts for short headings. Other languages need a font with the correct characters; inspect the exported file as well as the preview.
A4 landscape works well for a typical school week. Consider A3 for many columns or long subject names. More pixels improve sharpness, but do not make crowded text physically larger.
PDF keeps the selected page dimensions and embeds the poster as an image. PNG preserves crisp text without lossy compression. JPG is useful for image sharing. Choose High or Ultra for larger exports.
Match the paper size and orientation in your print dialog. Check the preview for clipping, use Fit to page when necessary and turn off browser headers if unwanted. Confirm that the brand at the bottom is visible.
LyfPDF’s timetable maker turns an editable schedule into a printable classroom poster or personal planner. It combines class presets, multilingual labels, custom school logos and direct editing in one browser-based workspace.
Your timetable and image edits are processed on your device. Downloaded PDF and OCR libraries may require an internet connection on first use. Your timetables are saved in this browser on this device and restored next time; download a PDF or CSV as a backup. OCR and plain-background removal are optional helpers; review their results before sharing.

Printable timetable and PDF schedule maker. Build a class timetable, exam schedule or weekly study routine, then download it as a print-ready PDF schedule, or as PNG or JPG for sharing — free and in your browser. It works as a free online timetable maker, time table maker and timetable creator for schools, colleges, coaching classes, teachers, students and families.
HELP & ANSWERSYes. You can create a timetable and download PNG, JPG or PDF files without an account or an API key. Every export includes the fixed lyfpdf.com brand.
Click the divider directly on the poster or choose Edit heart / slogan divider in Design. Pick one of 10 divider designs, change its two colors and line thickness, adjust its size, or upload your own SVG or image. You can hide the divider and restore it later.
No. The lyfpdf.com attribution is fixed in the preview, downloads and print output. Your school name, school logo, slogan, subjects, quotes and decorative graphics remain customizable.
Each schedule supports 1–20 columns and 1–24 rows. Rename the headings to use days, dates, times, rooms or activities. Reducing the visible rows or columns keeps their entered data while this page stays open.
Class 1–12 presets suggest age-appropriate illustrations and a slogan. With automatic class styling enabled, the template, palette and font also change. Text you have manually entered stays as you wrote it.
Built-in poster labels are available in English, Hindi, Arabic, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese. Arabic can use right-to-left layout. You can enter other Unicode text, but your device or uploaded font must contain the required characters. Changing the poster language does not translate your custom text.
Yes. Upload SVG, PNG, JPG or WebP artwork, or a TTF, OTF, WOFF or WOFF2 font. The image preparation step trims empty padding and preserves proportions. Optional background removal works on plain backgrounds; use a transparent image for complex backgrounds.
Timetable editing and image preparation happen in your browser. The tool does not upload your timetable or source images to a processing server. PDF and OCR libraries or language files may need to download from external hosts when first used. See the site privacy policy for wider site practices.
Yes, in this browser. Your timetables, period times and settings are saved automatically in this browser on this device (local storage) and restored when you come back. Nothing is uploaded. Uploaded custom fonts and very large images are not stored, and clearing browser data or using private browsing removes the saved copy. Use “Forget saved timetable” to delete it, and download a PDF or CSV as a backup.
Select the paper size in Design, use High or Ultra quality, then download the PDF or use Print. In the print dialog, match the selected paper and orientation, use Fit to page when needed and check that the full lyfpdf.com footer appears. Actual print margins depend on your printer.
Upload the photo as a reference and use Extract visible text if needed. OCR provides text to review and copy into cells; it does not automatically rebuild the table layout. Check names, numbers and subjects before exporting.
Dense schedules need more space. Try fewer columns, shorter text, A3 paper or a smaller font setting. For a failed PDF download, check the connection so the PDF library can load, then retry. Print to PDF is another option when your browser supports it.
Yes. Smart auto-generate builds a balanced weekly timetable from your subject list — subject, periods per week and teacher — like an AI timetable generator. It is rule-based and runs in your browser, so your data stays private, and you can shuffle for another version or edit any cell.
List one subject per line with its periods per week and teacher, choose the maximum periods of one subject per day, and click Generate timetable. Subjects are spread across the week, back-to-back repeats are avoided where possible, break rows and cells you typed are kept, and a report shows how many periods each subject received.
In 04 · Edit the grid, set the first period start time, period length, short break and lunch length, then click Auto-fill period times. Tick Break row on any row to make it a full-width break or lunch strip, and edit any start or end time in the table. Turn on Show period times to print them on the poster.
It is a live view of today’s timetable that uses your device clock to highlight the current period, show the teacher and count down to the next class. Use Classroom display for a full-screen view on a projector or smart board, or download the snapshot as a PNG.
Yes. Choose the Teacher timetable template, or type class and subject pairs such as “7-B Mathematics” in the cells. You can also show teacher names under every subject on a class timetable by listing teachers in Smart auto-generate.
Download CSV creates a file that opens in Excel, Google Sheets and Numbers, and Import CSV fills the grid from a spreadsheet. For Word or Google Docs, download a PNG and insert it as a picture, or use the PDF.
Open the Weekly study timetable or Daily routine template, list your subjects with the hours you want each week, generate the plan and adjust it. Keep rest and revision blocks, then print the PDF or keep the live view open on your phone or laptop.
A clear school timetable shows the class or section, the class teacher, the days of the week, numbered periods with start and end times, break and lunch rows, the subject in every period and, where useful, the teacher’s name. Using one colour per subject makes it easy for younger students to read.
They mean the same thing. “Timetable” is common in the UK, India, Australia and much of the world, while “class schedule” or “bell schedule” is used in the United States. This maker creates both, with your own days, periods and times.
Yes. Set the first bell, period length and breaks, then Auto-fill period times for a bell schedule. For a block schedule choose the A/B rotating days format or the “High school A/B block schedule” template with 90-minute blocks.
Yes. Choose Monday–Friday, Monday–Saturday, Sunday–Thursday, a full seven-day week, a rotating six-day cycle, A/B days or a two-week rotation. You can also rename every column.
Yes. Under Time format choose 12-hour (1:30 PM) or 24-hour (13:30). Auto uses the convention of your device, and the live view and poster follow the same setting.
Yes. The Weekly work / shift schedule template lists morning, evening and night shifts across seven days; type staff names in the cells or generate them from a list.
Yes. Besides English there are timetable pages in Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Hindi and Arabic, and the poster itself can use any of those languages with right-to-left support for Arabic.
