How to make a timetable and download it as a PDF
Start with a school week, an exam schedule or a study plan. Each format gives you a useful starting grid; change the example content to match your real timetable.
- Choose your schedule. Select School, Exam or Study, then choose a format. Options include Monday–Friday, Monday–Saturday, Sunday–Thursday, a full week, rotating days and a two-week schedule.
- Add your details. Enter the school or organization name, class, academic year and teacher. Choose a poster language and a class preset. Upload a school logo if you want one.
- Fill the grid. Click a cell in the poster or edit the schedule table. Add rows and columns, rename the headings and check every subject, date and time.
- Personalize the poster. Choose a template, palette and font. Click text to change its wording or style. Click any illustration or the slogan divider to replace, resize or recolor it.
- Review and download. Choose your paper size and quality. Save a PDF for printing, a PNG for sharp text or a JPG for sharing. The lyfpdf.com attribution stays visible on all outputs.

Edit the slogan, heart divider and classroom graphics
The slogan and the decorative line below it are separate parts. Click the words to edit the message; click the line or use Edit heart / slogan divider to open its graphics picker. Choose hearts, stars, sparkles, waves, a ribbon, laurel branches, a pencil, dots or a simple curved line.
Built-in dividers have two color controls and adjustable line thickness. Use the size slider for a narrower decoration, upload your own graphic, or hide it. You can restore a hidden divider through the part picker or the Design controls. The fixed brand sits in its own area below the divider.
The 67 classroom illustrations remain available alongside the 10 new dividers. For easy reading, use a clear font for subjects and reserve decorative fonts for short headings. Other languages need a font with the correct characters; inspect the exported file as well as the preview.

Make your timetable clear on paper and on screen
Paper and readability
A4 landscape works well for a typical school week. Consider A3 for many columns or long subject names. More pixels improve sharpness, but do not make crowded text physically larger.
PDF, PNG or JPG?
PDF keeps the selected page dimensions and embeds the poster as an image. PNG preserves crisp text without lossy compression. JPG is useful for image sharing. Choose High or Ultra for larger exports.
Before you print
Match the paper size and orientation in your print dialog. Check the preview for clipping, use Fit to page when necessary and turn off browser headers if unwanted. Confirm that the brand at the bottom is visible.

Your timetable and image edits are processed on your device. Downloaded PDF and OCR libraries may require an internet connection on first use. Edits remain available only while the page stays open, so download your work before refreshing or closing it. OCR and plain-background removal are optional helpers; review their results before sharing.

Is the timetable to PDF maker free?
Yes. You can create a timetable and download PNG, JPG or PDF files without an account or an API key. Every export includes the fixed lyfpdf.com brand.
How do I edit the heart and line under the slogan?
Click the divider directly on the poster or choose Edit heart / slogan divider in Design. Pick one of 10 divider designs, change its two colors and line thickness, adjust its size, or upload your own SVG or image. You can hide the divider and restore it later.
Can I change or remove the LyfPDF branding?
No. The lyfpdf.com attribution is fixed in the preview, downloads and print output. Your school name, school logo, slogan, subjects, quotes and decorative graphics remain customizable.
How many days, columns and periods can I add?
Each schedule supports 1–20 columns and 1–24 rows. Rename the headings to use days, dates, times, rooms or activities. Reducing the visible rows or columns keeps their entered data while this page stays open.
What changes when I select a different class?
Class 1–12 presets suggest age-appropriate illustrations and a slogan. With automatic class styling enabled, the template, palette and font also change. Text you have manually entered stays as you wrote it.
Which languages are supported?
Built-in poster labels are available in English, Hindi, Arabic, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese. Arabic can use right-to-left layout. You can enter other Unicode text, but your device or uploaded font must contain the required characters. Changing the poster language does not translate your custom text.
Can I upload a school logo, custom graphic or font?
Yes. Upload SVG, PNG, JPG or WebP artwork, or a TTF, OTF, WOFF or WOFF2 font. The image preparation step trims empty padding and preserves proportions. Optional background removal works on plain backgrounds; use a transparent image for complex backgrounds.
Are my timetable and uploaded images sent to a server?
Timetable editing and image preparation happen in your browser. The tool does not upload your timetable or source images to a processing server. PDF and OCR libraries or language files may need to download from external hosts when first used. See the site privacy policy for wider site practices.
Will my timetable be saved if I close or reload the page?
No. Different schedule formats keep their edits while the current page remains open, but this tool does not save a reusable project across reloads. Download your finished timetable before closing the page.
How do I print a clear timetable without cutting off the footer?
Select the paper size in Design, use High or Ultra quality, then download the PDF or use Print. In the print dialog, match the selected paper and orientation, use Fit to page when needed and check that the full lyfpdf.com footer appears. Actual print margins depend on your printer.
Can I convert a timetable photo into an editable schedule?
Upload the photo as a reference and use Extract visible text if needed. OCR provides text to review and copy into cells; it does not automatically rebuild the table layout. Check names, numbers and subjects before exporting.
Why is text small, or why did a PDF download fail?
Dense schedules need more space. Try fewer columns, shorter text, A3 paper or a smaller font setting. For a failed PDF download, check the connection so the PDF library can load, then retry. Print to PDF is another option when your browser supports it.
